Snake Charmer & The Bellydancer are a professional belly dance duo based out of El Paso Texas, directed by Sonia and Senee.  The mother/ daughter team has a unique serpentine style that consists of traditional Middle Eastern, Cabaret and Tribal Fusion styles that for the most part, they have classified as undefined.

These talented and fabulous dancers can add mystique and spice to your next event…a  touch of class and glamour .   The show can consist of the two dancers, veils, swords, Isis  wings or a collaboration with other talented dancers to provide drummers, zils, fire swords, fire poi, card reading, henna tattooing  and more ( if you wish) .  Customize and embellish your next event !!!  

These experienced dancers teach and perform in the El Paso, Las Cruces, and Cd. Juarez, Mexico area. They are available for special events, such as parties, workshops, fashion shows, related theatrical functions, weddings, bridal showers, baby showers and Middle Eastern events.

Traditional Belly Dance Class
March 15th to May 10th, 2012

Beginning on Thursday evening, March 15th, 2012 and continuing until May 10th, 2012, from 6 to 7 PM, the El Paso Museum of History will offer classes in traditional Belly Dance taught by Sonia Flores and her daughter Seneé. Middle Eastern influences have been a part of Spanish culture for many centuries. Here is your opportunity to learn the fundamentals of an ancient art.
Belly Dance or Raka Sharki is a dance created by women for women. Sonia and Seneé will teach the correct use of muscles for the best technique. They use a co-teaching and small group method to ensure that the participants receive their full attention. The fundamentals that are learned will create a base that can be built on. Students will have a foundation that they can use to create their very own style. Individuality and creativity are encouraged. Sonia and Seneé hope to create a safe place where women can come together, learn, celebrate womanhood and become empowered through dance.
Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended for the class. Class size is limited so register early. Program fee: $20.00 for non-members/$10.00 for members for the eight week course.
